“It’s just common sense” – FAH Urges Congress to Extend Enhanced Tax Credits Ahead of Senate Finance Committee Hearing

FAH submitted a Statement for the Record ahead of today’s Senate Finance Committee hearing highlighting how enhanced tax credits have made health care more affordable and accessible and calling on Congress to extend the tax credits before their upcoming expiration in 2025.

FAH Executive Vice President of Public Affairs Charlene MacDonald released the following statement on the need for Congress to extend the enhanced tax credits:

“Now more than ever, a record number of patients benefit from access to affordable, quality health coverage thanks to enhanced tax credits, but if Congress fails to act, these Americans will see their premiums skyrocket – or lose coverage completely. Congress must extend the tax credits and avoid needlessly increasing patients’ health care costs – it’s just common sense.”
