FAH Promotes Rebecca Heilig Lira to Lead Government Relations

The Federation of American Hospitals (FAH) is pleased to announce the promotion of Rebecca Heilig Lira to Senior Vice President, Government Relations where she will direct FAH’s lobbying and political engagement strategy.

FAH President and CEO Chip Kahn released the following statement:

“As we close out the 118th and prepare for a new Congress, Rebecca’s leadership will be critical to FAH navigating our health care priorities through a changing political landscape. A skilled veteran of Washington with deep knowledge of policy and the legislative process, Rebecca is well-equipped to advocate for patients and our member hospitals in our nation’s Capital.”

Rebecca has served as Vice President, Government Relations since 2021. She joined FAH after serving in the Trump Administration where she was Associate Director, Business Outreach for the White House Office of Public Liaison. Before joining the Administration, she served as Deputy Director, Member Services at the Republican National Committee and held various roles in the office of Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.), the current Majority Leader in the House. Previously, Rebecca worked in the White House during the George W. Bush administration.
