“A critical step toward advancing innovation and strengthening cybersecurity” – FAH Statement on AI Executive Order 

Washington, D.C. (June 2, 2026) – Charlene MacDonald, President and CEO of the Federation of American Hospitals (FAH), released the following statement on the recent artificial intelligence (AI) executive order:

“The Trump Administration’s AI executive order is a critical step toward advancing innovation and strengthening cybersecurity across the country. Our hospitals aren’t waiting for the future of AI, and the Administration’s collaborative public-private approach will help accelerate our members’ innovations to improve health care delivery while ensuring the protection of sensitive information. We’ll continue working with the Administration to ensure AI is deployed responsibly and securely to improve patient care.”
