FAH sent comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on proposed revisions to the Medicare Enrollment Application for Institutional Providers.

FAH supports many of the changes proposed, including the revisions designed to correct errors, create a uniform standard across the enrollment applications, improve instructions, and minimize burden. However, FAH, opposed three of the proposed changes, including a proposals to remove the reporting on physician ownership and to collect new ownership information focused on private equity and real estate investment trusts (REITs).
