Today, FAH submitted comments to the HHS Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) regarding its Request for Information for the Health Technology Ecosystem. 

FAH comments offered numerous recommendations, including on the following key issue areas:

• Digital health product adoption
• EHR integration into physician clinical workflow
• Data accessibility
• FHIR API support and utilization
• Data exchange and interoperability through the TEFCA framework
• Reducing provider burden in the area of clinical quality data
• Wider use of digital identity credentials for patients and providers
• Address information blocking challenges for provide
• Public health data exchange and reporting
