Today, FAH congratulates the new Republican leadership in the Senate and the House, including the new Senate Majority Leader, Senator John Thune (R-SD); the new Majority Whip, Senator John Barrasso (R-WY); the new Republican Conference Chair, Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR); and the new House Republican Conference Chair Lisa McClain (R-MI). FAH looks forward to working together – along with Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA), and House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) – and the rest of the Senate and House to advance policies ensuring patients’ access to 24/7 hospital care.
