The Federation of American Hospitals is honored to have members of our Board of Directors, and FAH President and CEO Chip Kahn recognized on this year’s Modern Healthcare “100 Most Influential” list. This prestigious program recognizes individuals deemed by the senior editors of Modern Healthcare to be the most influential figures in the industry for leadership and impact.
This is Chip’s 23rd appearance on the Modern 100 list – making him the only person to appear each year since the program started in 2002.
The following FAH Board members appeared on this year’s list:
- Marty Bonick, President and CEO of Ardent Health
- Samuel Hazen, CEO of HCA Healthcare
- Tim Hingtgen, CEO of Community Health Systems
- Dr. Saum Sutaria, Chair and CEO of Tenet Healthcare
In this year’s publication, Modern Healthcare’s editors said, “Under Kahn’s leadership, FAH has continued to inform Congress on how health policies would affect healthcare providers and access to care.” They specifically highlighted how this year Chip was “a critical voice following the Change Healthcare cyberattack in February … He outlined steps healthcare organizations and policymakers should take to navigate the aftermath and prepare for future threats.”
