Adam Broder serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at the Federation of American Hospitals where he leads member and external stakeholder engagement, ensuring strategic alignment, financial stability, and long-term growth across the organization. He directly oversees communications, member relations, and events and conferences.
A former political strategist, public affairs consultant, and crisis communications adviser to health care companies and other leading corporations and advocacy organizations, Adam has nearly 20 years’ experience helping others navigate complex political, regulatory, and reputational challenges. Prior to joining FAH, Adam was Managing Director in the public affairs practice at FTI Consulting, where he designed and executed multi-stakeholder advocacy campaigns, including for hospitals and health systems.
Adam was previously a senior campaign strategist and served as Research Director and Strategic Communications Adviser at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) where he helped members of Congress and their campaigns on reputation defense, media engagement, crisis communications, and effective earned and paid media strategies.
Adam graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor’s degree in Religion and a concentration in Political Science.
